A Radar-Lidar Altimeter control the energy absorbing device connected to the main riser strap of an aircraft parachute. An aircraft has a radar controlled energy absorbing device connected to the main riser strap of a parachute The energy absorbing device has a strap folded in half lengthwise and sewn with lengthwise stitches. A first coupling is connected to a 3-ring release system containing a smaller ring,a mid-size ring, and a larger ring, and to a carabiner at the end of the parachutes main riser strap, a lower end of the energy absorbing device is connected to a second coupling to carabiner at the end of suspension straps.
Contains a Radar-Lidar Altimeter with a mechanism , pulling a retaining pin of the 3-ring release system; during approach of the aircraft towards the ground, the first coupling is unlocked and released along with the larger ring, causing tearing of the stitches applying a counterforce to the weight of the aircraft and decelerating the fall, reducing the ground impact speed

Radar LiDAR Altimeter

ParAbsorber Radar LiDAR Altimeter brings new technology and the radar is placed under the aircraft-uav, facing the ground.
The Radar altimeter measures the height above the ground below an aircraft, uav connected to a parachute, by timing how long it takes a beam of radio waves to travel to the ground, reflect and return to the aircraft. This type of Radar altimeter provides the distance between the Radar antenna and the ground directly below it and in an emergency it activates the Energy absorbing device with a servo.
